Rice Crispy Treats

Yield: 16 squares
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 5 oz mini marshmallows (half a bag)
- 2½ cups rice crispies
Instructions
- Melt butter and peanut butter in medium saucepan over low heat.
- Add marshmallows, stirring occasionally, until 75% melted.
- Remove from heat and continue to stir, pressing down on marshmallows until completely combined.
- Pour mixture over cereal and stir until well coated.
- Pour into greased 8 or 9 inch pan and press firmly.
- Let cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into 16 squares.
Notes
- Press mixture firmly into pan for treats that hold together well.
- Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
